Strangely enough, there are peopl who are really serious at EQ2 and want to make money as badly as any CEO of a large company. You may or may not already be aware of the fact that there are companies who employ people to play EQ2. Unfortunately these people normally tend to be abroad where the wages are a fraction of what they are in the US. However that being said there are companies making big bucks out of it.
It's actually more simply to do than you might think. You don't have to sit there staring at a computer screen for hours on end either. If you want to make extra money in your spare time you can do so.
With Everquest 2 you need to have currency (plat) to play. If you don't have it then you can't play. You can buy and sell plat leggally on the Station Exchange. The value of plat is pretty low at around $1 per plat. Unfortunately there are some illegal gold sellers that have spoilt it for people who genuinely want to make some extra money.
If you see people who are doing things illegally you should report them because it's not fair on people who are trying to play by the rules. What you need to be aware of it that "botting" is very bad and shouldn't be done at all. If you want to make money then sage and jeweler are your best options.
